Do you like surprises? Do you need help deciding what to read next? Are you distracted by cover art that inaccurately portrays the content of a book? In an effort to assist you with your summer reading and have fun while doing it, the library launches the ‘Blind Date with a Book’ program on July 1st for all adult library members.
To meet your blind date, come to the library, choose a blind date book, take it home and unwrap it. Be surprised and hopefully, intrigued, enough to read it. When you return it, please take a few moments to let us know how your blind date went by filling in a ‘Blind Date with a Book’ bookmark. As we all know, not all blind dates go well, so you can help others avoid bad blind dates by an honest assessment.
